DemBiz Welcomes the 56th Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates Eileen Filler-Corn

Eileen Filler-Corn was the 56th Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates, the first woman to hold the role in Virginia’s history. As Speaker, Eileen led the most productive House of Delegates agenda in Virginia’s history, making the Commonwealth the best place in the country for business, expanding abortion rights, strengthening gun safety laws, expanding voting rights, and so much more. Now, Eileen is running for Congress to bring about that same change nationally and to fight for the people of Northern Virginia as the next representative of Virginia’s 10th Congressional district. Prior to her election to the House, she also served in the administrations of Governors Mark Warner and Tim Kaine. Eileen and her husband, Bob, remain active members of the same Northern Virginia community in which they raised their two children.
